Zamboni Fixative is a ready-to-use phosphate-buffered picric-formaldehyde acid (PAF) fixative with applications for optical and electron microscopy. This solution is very stable and provides good overall fixation with rapid penetration and excellent preservation and stabilization of cellular proteins.
Fixation:
Standard specimens: a minimum of 4 hours is recommended.
Small biopsies: a minimum of 1 hour is recommended.
(Uses: light and electron microscopy).
