Particularly suitable for needle biopsies (liver, kidney, testicle).
Samples are immersed at room temperature directly in an adequate amount of Dubosq-Brazil Fixative.
Sample/fixative volume ratio: 1:50
Sample thickness: 5 mm max
Fixation time:
30 min/1 hour for samples less than 1 mm thick
1-2 days for samples less than 5 mm thick
