The probe is a double-stranded DNA probe that has been labeled with digoxigenin (DIG). It detects human chromosome 7 alpha-satellites DNA D7Z1 in formalin fixed paraffin embedded (FFPE) tissue sections and cell preparation by chromogenic in situ hybridization (CISH) methodology.
