This antibody is specific to human cytokeratin 10. It recognizes a 56.5 kDa cytokeratin protein found in suprabasal layers of keratinizing stratified epithelia, suprabasal layers of non-keratinizing stratified epithelia and in differentiated areas of squamous carcinomas. This antibody is useful in the differentiation of stratified squamous epithelia.
