The specificity of this antibody is similar to antibodies Leu-M1, TÜ 9 and VIM-D5, recognizing an epitope involving the carbohydrate sequence 3-fucosyl-N-acetyl-lactosamine. This antibody reacts with an antigen located on mature granulocytes and on Hodgkin and Reed-Sternberg cells.
