This antibody reacts with herpes simplex virus type 2. It does not show any cross-reaction with tissue culture isolates of RSV, influenza virus type A and B, parainfluenza virus type 1,2,3 and 4b, adenovirus, HSV1, varicella-zoster virus, mumps virus and measles virus.
