Kit with stains for P.A.S. acc. Morel Maronger staining, mainly used for the detection of glycogen presence. Many tissues as connective, cartilage, bones, mucosa cells and glands, kidney structures, hypophysis basophil cells, thyroid colloid substance may result P.A.S. positive.
Morel-Maronger method is characterized by picro indigo carmine staining that allows simultaneous detection of connective tissue and erythrocytes.
