Positive Control: Macrophages in breast carcinoma.
Specificity: This antibody reacts with the zymogen as well as the activated form of cathepsin D. It stains fibroblasts and macrophages strongly but stains myoepithelial cells of breast weakly. In addition, this antibody stains the sweat ducts and glands in the skin, islet cells and granules of pancreatic acini.
