The Histosonde Alpha Hemoglobin consists of a segment of single-stranded DNA that has a length of 158 nucleotides, complementary to the expressed RNA. For the detection of the erythroid series without the background of red blood cells produced by glycophorin A. Probe Alfa Hemoglobin is useful for the detection of erythroid cells in any tissue and when its morphology is altered by some pathological processes. It is especially useful in those biopsies where the erythroid series is difficult to differentiate.
